Kalgoorlie Towing was started in the early 90's by Wayne Bruce, the current director of the company. Wayne started out in the heavy towing & recovery market with a Mack Superliner, equiped with a Holmes 750 unit, a Mitusbishi tilt tray & a Kenworth K125 8-wheeler, towing a 45" float. In 1996 the business was sold. Not long after it was sold, the business was running at a loss and was shut down. In 2001 Wayne bought Kalgoorlie Towing back and built it up to what it is today. The fleet now consists of a heavy duty Oshkosh wrecker, an Oshkosh Primemover and a Mack prime mover, towing a 45" tilting drop deck.
